Blair Brown Blair Brown (b. 23 April 1946) is an acclaimed stage actress who has also reached a broader audience with her television and film work, particularly, in the 1980s. Examaples of her stage work (in alphabetical order): Tom Stoppard's Arcadia at Lincoln Center At least two runs as Frau Schneider in Cabaret The Comedy of Errors for the New York Shakespeare Festival Copenhagen, for which she won a Tony Award in 2000 A revival of Stephen Sondheim's A Little Night Music The Threepenny Opera on Broadway Playwright David Hare wrote The Secret Rapture specifically for her. Examples of her television and film work (also in alphabetical order): Altered States The Choirboys A Golden Globe nomination for her role in A Continental Divide, headlining with John Belushi Jacqueline Kennedy in the 1983 TV miniseries Kennedy Costarring with Paul Simon in his One Trick Pony An early, small role in The Paper Chase (1973) Her most widely-viewed success was as the Emmy Award-winning lead in the dramedy The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd.
